The change tapeAbout the change tapeThe snapshot is useful; the changes are what matter. Every event has an effective date, the date we observed it, a source and an evidence class. Not every event is equally significant: a 13F position change is routine, a new CIO or a first direct deal in a new sector is not.Most important first: the score every DFX event list shares, from the size of the change, how recent it is, what kind of change it is, the strength of its evidence and whether it is the first of its kind for the office, over the last 180 days.
