Repeat founders
People who ran a company before, filing for a new one
How a repeat founder is foundDerived from SEC Form D filings: a person named as an executive officer of two or more operating companies (not funds, managers or holding companies), whose first Form Ds are at least 180 days apart. The date is the new company’s first Form D on record. The same person is inferred from the name and the state on both filings, not from an identifier. Someone who also holds a role at a venture adviser is marked “possibly an investor-side officer”.0 new companies whose people ran a company that has an exit on record
None on record today. No repeat founder’s earlier company has an acquisition, listing or other exit on the graph, and the executives named on exited companies are not yet named on a newer company’s Form D. This view fills as exits and filings meet.
Export: add the companies to a target list, then export the list from your account. Coverage follows SEC Form D: a founder whose companies never filed one is not here. Methodology
