What happened
The app's notification channel: unauthorized parties pushed false alerts. Not the national siren network; Air Force says the app is separate from military command systems.
Users received false warnings of radiation, chemical threat, imminent nuclear attack and street fighting in Kyiv, some in Russian or mixed Russian and Ukrainian with errors (one read 'Do not worry, the Oreshnik is incoming'). Corrected by the Air Force about 10 to 15 minutes later; false alerts cleared within about an hour. Coincided with the end of the Kherson truce. No reported casualties or panic incidents.

- Access vector (vendor backend, admin credentials, or push provider)
- Responsible actor (SPRAVDI blames Russia; Hitcore claim via Russian Telegram unverified)
- Kyiv Independent says sirens sounded nationwide while ABC cites the ministry that sirens and other channels worked normally; whether sirens were triggered by the false alerts is unresolved
