On 20 Oct 2026 a power event in Google Cloud's europe-west2 London region knocked out most Revolut services across Europe for much of the day, including card payments, transfers, ATM withdrawals, FX and trading. Revolut confirmed the Google Cloud link and said services were restored by about 17:52 UTC, with customer funds and data safe.
