From the HUD FHA and CMBS loan tapes and the owner and manager records of each financed property in the real estate graph. 163 of 524 loans are tied to a property record. Amounts are original principal.
The picture keeps the strongest in each large group; the rest are counted here.
Click any name for the loans and sources behind it, or a group's + mark to open the rest. Line weight is loans together; dashed lines are inferred.
A manager or owner is read from the loans on the properties it manages or owns: three or more is a strong observed relationship, two a repeat counterparty. Properties are ordered by original principal. Nothing is scored that a reader cannot check.
Darker lines were active in the last 24 months or are current; lighter lines are older or undated.
The 2006 interagency guidance on commercial real estate concentrations sets its levels at 300% of total risk based capital for total CRE and 100% for construction and land. These ratios use the bank's equity from the Call Report as the denominator, a close proxy rather than the supervisory measure, so a bank near a level is worth reading in its own filings.
