Facts, inferences and estimates are labelled as such. A fund target is never a close, GAV is never dry powder, and a round size is never an investor’s check.
Who backs whom, from the LP’s own report
A public pension publishes, under public-records law, every fund it has committed to, usually with its own cash flows and a multiple. 14 plans are read today: 5,152 disclosed rows, 1,557 of them resolved to a fund or manager on this graph. A row that does not resolve is kept, unresolved, and never guessed. A plan that publishes managers only (no fund, no amount) is listed with that said.

Resolution is by name and says so on every row: an exact match to a fund on Form ADV or Form D, the same manager stem, series and numeral with one candidate, or a manager-level match where the LP prints the manager. No fuzzy match writes a commitment. The committed figure sums only resolved rows, so it understates the plan’s book on purpose.
