Methodology and sources
Limitations
- Most single family offices are excluded from Form ADV, so the universe is built from several kinds of public record and cannot be complete.
- Form 13F covers long positions in 13(f) securities only; it is never presented as an office's portfolio and its value is never called assets under management.
- Every classification carries a confidence and an evidence class, and an inference is never promoted to a fact.
