• An acquisition is a dated transfer of a registered investment adviser's business to another adviser, read from Form ADV filings (the target's withdrawal and its advisers' registrations moving to the acquirer) and from the firms' announcements.
• The window is the 24 months to 7 October 2026.
• Each acquirer is counted once per acquired firm.
• The date is the deal date where announced, else the date the advisers moved on the registration record.
• Ranked by the number of distinct counted events in the window. A tie is broken by the date of the firm's most recent counted event, then alphabetically.

Included

• Every acquirer with at least one counted acquisition in the window.

Left out

• Internal restructurings, where a firm re-registers under a related entity.
• Acquisitions with no date, or dated outside the window.

• The leader has 16 acquisitions in the window.
• 44 acquirers recorded more than one.
