Dates and freshness
Every event has a date and says what kind: Occurred (the date the source states), Scheduled or Was due (a contractual date), or First seen by DFX when the source gives none. Each market page shows how fresh its sources are.
- Occurred: the date stated in the source (a filing date, an announcement date).
- Scheduled: a contractual future date such as a loan maturity. Once it has passed it reads Was due.
- First seen by DFX, or Undated: the source gave no date, so DFX shows when it learned the fact.
- What changed sorts by when it happened or by when DFX learned it.
How often is it updated?
It depends on the source: some regulators publish daily (the SEC's IAPD adviser feed), some quarterly (BDC schedules of investments), some annually (Form ADV, Form 5500). Each market's landing and the All markets page show freshness for that market, and Sources and coverage lists the read dates. A figure is as current as its source's latest filing.
