Find someone who can introduce you

Your network finds the people you already know who can reach a firm or a person you want to meet. Upload your LinkedIn connections or a CRM export, say who you want to reach, and DFX ranks the routes in, with the evidence for every step. It is included in every paid plan and the 7-day free trial; anyone can open the sample network.

Ask who can introduce you

  1. Open Your network (Relationships in the rail), or press Who can introduce me on a profile.
  2. In Plan, under 1. Your lists, press Add a list and drop in your LinkedIn archive (.zip) or Connections.csv, a CRM export, or any .csv or .xlsx of people or companies. Say what it is under What is this list?
  3. In Reach, type a person or a firm under Who do you want to reach? DFX shows the best route in from the people you already know, and the evidence for each step.

The five tabs

  • Reach: how do I get there? The best routes to one person or firm.
  • Plan: what should I focus on? Upload lists, set what you are trying to do, and press Analyze my network for ranked targets and the people to start with.
  • My Network: what access do I have?
  • Explore: how is this connected? A map you can walk from you outwards.
  • Discover: what changed that I can act on? What changed, This week and Pinned.

Getting your LinkedIn connections

  1. On LinkedIn, signed in, open Get a copy of your data.
  2. Choose Connections (add Messages for relationship strength), then Request archive.
  3. LinkedIn emails a link, usually within minutes. Upload the .zip as it is.

Your uploads are private

Your list is private to you. It is never added to the DFX graph or shown to anyone else, message text never leaves your computer, and Delete on a list removes it and everything DFX derived from it. Upload only lists you have the right to use.
