Support chat or Ask DFX?
The support chat helps you use DFX. Ask DFX helps you ask DFX Intelligence questions. Ask the chat how something works or where it is; ask Ask DFX to find, rank or research firms, people, deals and properties.
- Support chat (the round button, bottom right): what a page or signal means, where something is, how filters, plans, exports and billing work, why something is locked. It knows which page you are on.
- Ask DFX (Ask in the product bar, the box under each market's doors, Cmd-K): research questions answered from the graph with the evidence, for example which family offices in Texas invest directly in software companies.
If you ask the support chat a research question, it will say so and give you a button that runs your question in Ask DFX, read through the market of the page you are on. The chat never makes up firms, people or numbers.
